Realist - Everybody in America is soft, and hates conflict. The cure for this, both in politics and social life, is the same -- hardihood. Give them raw truth.

...well, I had the shot too. I suspecks this fella had some other problems as well. I got a shitload of shots before going to nam, some while I was there and a few when I got back. The only thing I ever had a reaction to was Gama Globulin. The syringe looked like it held about a coke bottle cull of serum and the needle was as big as the kind ya marinate meat with. They have to use one that big cause the drug has to be kept cold and as a result if is about as thick as 30 weight motor oil. After the shot I took about ten steps and collapsed like I had been shot in the head. Woke up shivering and shaking managed to make it to my cot and laid there thinking I was dying. After about four hours I woke up and never felt so good at any time in my life.
