Are the Algo's trying to 'outsmart' each other?


Thats what it sounds like and remember 2001 space odyssey??


Hal the computer took over and did what it wanted to. I can see these algo computers taking over . LOL Crazy as that sounds.........

Only if one tries to play the game the way 'they' want one to.
I buy and hold and enjoy the dividends. So the share price
plummets . . . as long as the company remains healthy and continues
to pay out the dividend . . I can simply hold and wait for the
price to go back up again.

And then most of the stuff I buy . . . I'd like to hold, like, forever.

Sure. 'They' want 'us' to buy and sell and trade like rabid raccoons.
'They' NEED huge volumes to make their 'pennies a share'. And who has
to trade huge volumes? It ain't me, probably ain't most of you guys
either.
