DE 90% of that lawn is moss. We tried for many years to get rid of it, I think we just fed it. Real soft on the feet though LOL. We give up. summer it does have some grass and looks a lot better..........I'm sure he would spring for a green house. MY bro in TX made one that takes care of itself. All functions of maintaining his green house are done with timers, water supplies, lighting, heat, everything. Hes a brainiac also LOL

Realist - Everybody in America is soft, and hates conflict. The cure for this, both in politics and social life, is the same -- hardihood. Give them raw truth.

Looks like a really pretty place. Nice and green. I have that too (well, not *now*, but usually), but my house is on land that's hilly and rocky... hard to mow. You should consider putting in a garden... something small in the first year as you experiment to see what works, but double that the next, and so on. Food is a nice thing to know you'll always have. Do you think your landlord would spring for a greenhouse? That would make everything else a whole lot easier.
