DE, YOUR POST REVERTED TO THE ELONGATED MESS WE SPOKE OF BEFORE....just thought you would want to know.
-------------
My son was hired by Walgreens when he was up here this summer. They gave him a lot of training and REALLY stressed customer service.
And yet another reason to love Joey. I am excited that he is coming home and I don't even know him!
At Walgreens, if a customer looks confused (and what are the chances of that at a drug store??),
If you live near me, everyone looks confused. Average age: 83. I believe their confusion is contagious, as I am feeling very confused of late. I need to be kept on the straight and narrow. Walgreen's has A LOT of things that you wouldn't normally look for in a drug store - earphones, for example. Oh dear one, please mind your manners in front of the old farts, of which I am NOT one.
)
I get a little out of control once in a while. I just need one of those "looks" and I'm done.
the employee must stop whatever he is doing and help the customer to find whatever it is that he or she is looking for.
Have you ever gone up and down the aisles of Walgreen's? They have great stuff for reasonable prices. Yes, I find the employees to be very helpful.
You can tell they are properly trained and they have excellent manners. UNUSUAL, and I notice those kinds of behaviors instantaneously. I always say to the very polite kid, "and tell your mother she did a great job raising you." I do! Recently, I wrote a note at customer service to some kid's mother. NO LIE!

That sort of nonsense will get you fired at Walmart.
Okay, I don't want to bitch at Wally World, but they have absolutely sucked when it came to my new phones.
I am pissed. I'll get to it.
Working on my Viet Nam vet donation bags/boxes and so forth - pick-up on Friday.
I'll be pulling an all-nighter AGAIN.
