I'll go a bit wider. The trouble is, I'm not seeing the problem that you described. For me, what I was posting looked perfect in both the Mozilla and Chrome browsers. I figured you must be using some gigantic font... especially since you persist in posting messages with really short lines. So I tried what seemed to be your preferred length and . . . now it's too short? ` Wow. Tough crowd.
