Ever since, when I say 'Hey Honey, I'm going to the store,
you want anything?' . . . When she hits item number four
I say 'Stop. Go make me a list. YOU KNOW a guy can't
remember more than three things.'.

Really? That's all ya do, huh?

Oh, okay.

So I write a list. I almost remember it exactly.

1) bananas

2) milk

3) bread

4 ice cream

5 tuna

6) rolls

&) bologna (I hate bologna, uggh, can't even touch it)

7) cheese

etc. etc.

So what do I get?

yep, you guessed it.

ONE banana
TWO gallons of milk
THREE loaves of bread
FOUR half gallons of ice cream
FIVE cans of tuna
SIX slices of bologna
SEVEN slices of cheese.

I wish I were sh*tting you, but I'm not.

Then he shows me the list and says, "I GOT EVERYTHING!"

Funny you should say that.
Long time ago now I took GirlFriend to a comedy club.
One of the comedians spiels included saying Guys can
only remember three things at one time.

Ever since, when I say 'Hey Honey, I'm going to the store,
you want anything?' . . . When she hits item number four
I say 'Stop. Go make me a list. YOU KNOW a guy can't
remember more than three things.'.

It was a good gag for a while.

(Now she makes me write the list down . . .)
