I was almost done with the snowblower. I had maybe 50 ft.² left to do and it wasn't in an important part of the driveway when the thing ran out of gas.

I added just a third of the tank since it drips gas if it's too full and I wouldn't want to put it away like that. I tried to restart it and… snapped the drawstring off deep inside the blower. @#$!

I think it's an easy fix. I hope so, but I haven't ever tried to fix one before. I can't afford to be without a snow blower.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

Re: “How much did you get so far out of this system hanging around up there in the northeast? ”

Even though it has been snowing hard for the last 15 hours, this will only be an 18 hour snowfall and consequently doesn't really qualify as a blizzard. We've had three storms, each of which dumped about 8 inches - so 2 feet in total.

That's not bad. As Kathy said, I enjoy the snow. Going outside to shovel is much better than being cooped up in the house. However, I'm not a masochist so I will wait until the snow ends before I head out there to deal with it. I don't really want to shovel the driveway twice.
