May I jump in here for a quick moment please?

Zim is good at this and patient beyond belief.

I wanted to answer kathy about being good now.

I think she needs to add a couple programs to her computer so that she keeps it running clean and smooth.

1. C Cleaner free version OR Glary Utilities free version. This has the disk cleanup program right where ya can see it and it works very well. I use it daily.

2. Malwarebytes. Start with free but PAY for the premium version once and you never have to pay for it again and it runs continuously and monitors your computer for malware, spyware, bad things.... Yes it works in real time.....
Well worth the small price.

3. Antivirus from Webroot. About $19.00 for a 3 machine subscription.

So, just my suggestions to keep yer machine running clean and very organized.

4. Auslogics FREE DISK defrag. That will keep the files defragmented quite nicely as well and much faster than Windoze....

Did you use the Windows 'Disk Clean Up' thingee . . .
Or did you use one of those pop up ads from the dark
web that said 'disk clean up' ?

If you used the Windows disk clean up, no harm no foul.
But if you used the dark web no telling what might
have gotten into your computer now.

I didn't do that, I swear. I'm in the "no harm, no foul" arena here. (whew!)

whew ok, so I went into that C drive and finally got to properties. Here's what it says:

used space: 57.5 GB
free space: 398 GB

Seems ok, right?

Please don't laugh, but you have an example in your post and that windows thingee kept going away, so I was trying to "x" out your porphyria example.

I know. You can't x out an example. I am a complete and total failure.
