Unfortunately, the BIBLE makes it very clear trhat in the latter days an APOSTACY will overtake much of the so called "church". That means simply that those so called "churches" will be swayed to leave their first love (CHRIST and HIS WORD (the Bible) and follow after the "broad path that leads to destruction".
Jesus declares in the end of Revelation that he will spew these so called Churches out of his mouth, and those who have turned against him including the FALSE PREACHERS and Teachers because they left their first Love, which should be CHRIST alone....
The Apostacy period is real and it is here today big time. I have been heavily involved in Fundamentalism for over 40 years now. Fundamentalism merely means adhering to the fundamentals and not wavering at every new and improved variation of something that comes along and causes people to abandon the truths of scripture, their author, the One whom their very Souls depend, and run off wit itching ears to some FAKE NEW dogma .
The Holy Trinity , God the Father, God the Son and God the holy SPirit are three persons in one.
SATAN is the great imitator and pretends to be really pious and LOOK like these new things are from God, when in fact, they were designed BY HIM and HIS UNHOLY Trinity to cause Human beings to follow after them and MISS the TRUTH from God's Word.
They are DISTRACTIONS from FALSE Prohets and many people there be that chase after them.
A good number of Former fundamentally sound Baptist Churches have left the Word of Truth and gone off the rails as have many other main line denominations.
JUST because some things look good in today's morally bankrupt society does not mean that GOD approved them. If anyone wants to know if GOD approved anything, CHECK HIS WORD. THAT and there is your final authority.
Yes, Satan wants to destrpy America as it was founded on the principles of people being able to worship GOD and bring honor and praise to HIS name. They did not want an unholy government interfering with worship of God as it had in Europe and other continents around the world.
Now, today we see that a majority of people in this country have no time for GOD and think Sunday is a day for football and other distractions rather a day to worship and praise HIM who REDEEMED US through the Sacrifice of CHRIST on a Roman Cross, shedding HOLY, Divine blood for the forgiveness of OUR SINS and granting pardon and redemption of those sins to ANY and ALL who would earnestly SEEK HIM and ask.. You see, JESUS HATES THE SINS but HE LOVES THE SINNER and wants to forgive him and pardon him. THAT is WHY He Himself left the Throne of Heaven and became a MAN, who was to be the SACRIFICIAL LAMB for ALL our sins of every person past, present, and future. ALL we need do is come to HIM with contrite heart, and ASK HIM to forgive us of our sins we commit each and every day....
The World is fast going into AGNOSTICISM and refuses to see the SIGNS of the Times, which Christ told us in the Gospels (see parable of Fig tree), to be very cognizant of, and know that when we see these things to KNOW that our redemption draweth NIGH.
THIS IS WHY I get excited when I see things like about Governments taking over and wanting to unite into a one world system which will have one person at the head, kind of like the United Nations does, and this world sysem will be totally AGNOSTIC. NO ROOM FOR JESUS NOW just as there was no room for Him when he was BORN at the Stable instead of inside the Inn.
MANY "churches" that exist are really not Churches. They are CULTS. Pretenders. They were not ordained of God and resemble NOTHING of what we have as an example of what a Church really is. MANY are just FAKES and false and people do not read their Bibles and "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not be ashamed, rightly Dividing the WORD of TRUTH".
WHEN you KNOW the WORD of TRUTH from Studying it, thinking about it day and night, letting the HOly Spirit GUIDE you unto all knowledge and wisdom,m you will NOT BE FOOLED by all these FAKE and FALSE so called Churches.
WE DO HOWEVER have an ORDER and Obligation to reach out to people and share with them the REAL WORDS OF LIFE that CHRIST commanded us to share and tell others how they too can have a HOME in Heaven for all eternity to be with HIM who LOVED US, and GAVE HIMSELF for ALL of US!
WE are COMMANDED BY CHRIST to do that. It was not a suggestion.
THOSE words of truth have been so changed and corrupted by so many false teachers and preachers and Churches that many do not have a clue as to what is true and what is not. Satan has done his job well. He will keep MANY, MOST, people from ever entering in at the Straight Gate.
Missing Heaven because they were deceived and did not read the Bible for themselves and LEARN of HIM through the preserved Scriptures.
So, yes sir, these times and days we live in have MANY FAKE and Phony churches, preachers, BIBLES, and unfortunately, too many followers.
For these reasons, I continue to preach and teach THE WORD of GOD without apology or any watering down. SOULS need to accept Christ as Savior and HIM ALONE BY FAITH. NOT of doing good deeds or working for salvation.
Works are of the devil. Christ said COME UNTO ME and I will give you rest. He did not say go out and work your way to heaven.. THAT cannot be done and anyone promoting that is a heretic..
These are the last days and the time of Laodicea as described in Revelation, chapters 21 and 22.
Some may not like that. I cannot help that. My calling from God is to preach the Word. Be instant in season and out of season. Never failing to give forth the Word of Truth so others also may COME to a Saving Knowledge of Christ and we can rejoice in Heaven for an eternity together!
So the only question that has any real meaning or consequences for LIFE is: WHERE are YOU going to spend eternity when you die and your Spirit departs your body?
Every person in the planet has that same question to deal with. NO exceptions.
WHAT have WE DONE with JESUS? IS HE LORD or is He just a Bible story we tell kids at bedtime?
Narrow is the road which leads to righteousness, heaven, and eternal life.... It is found only by trust Jesus as Lord and Savior and accepting HIS death as payment in full for our sins. ALL we need do is ask Him....
