Re: “..what I got are two videos that came off my dashcam.”
Here are high level instructions. If you need specifics, let me know.
Move them from your dashcam to your PC or laptop. Create an account for yourself on youtube.com . If you have a Gmail account, use it since both Gmail and Youtube are Google companies.
Once logged onto youtube, you'll see a little movie camera icon toward the upper right. (The 5th icon from the right, next to the square "connect-a-dot" icon.)

Click on it to navigate to and begin uploading the first "movie" your dashcam created. (I recommend using the up-arrow to "Select files to upload" rather than dragging and dropping them.)
Youtube is in the process of "upgrading" its video management system to something newer and crappier, so you could wind up with either of two screens from which to enter information about your video while it uploads. I recommend the older user interface, shown here:

You'll notice that the screen tells you that it is Uploading and is a certain percent done. On the left, it tells you the URL that will be assigned to the video. I recommend cutting and pasting it into a Word file that you maintain as a repository for all of your youtube videos, but that's up to you. You can always look it up later, but I think it's a pain trying to find it later.
While it's uploading, enter information about the video. Change "MVI 0329" (in my example) to something very brief and meaningful. Just 2 or 3 words and a date, usually. In the "Description" text box, enter as much as you want about the video, bearing in mind that the world will be able to read it. And in the "Tags" box, enter key words and phrases that others can use to search for your videos. Separate them by commas.
I recommend something like:

When the "Uploading" is done (my uploads sometimes take hours), it will change to "Processing" which doesn't take as long. When processing begins, I usually click on the blue "Publish" button. Don't do it while uploading.) If you don't Publish, your upload won't save.
Once processing finishes, others can use the url you saved.
I hope that works for you.
If your dashcam has its videos in a proprietary format, youtube may not recognize them. Unless the manufacturer hosts videos itself, you'll have no option but to convert them to MP3, AVI or some other standard format.
