I've forgotten, though, why you're taking it. You haven't had a heart attack or TIA, right?

Preventative...............maybe I am wrong in taking them for that...

Realist - Everybody in America is soft, and hates conflict. The cure for this, both in politics and social life, is the same -- hardihood. Give them raw truth.

Yup. Aspirin is a blood thinner. It decreases coagulation. So when you get cut you bleed a lot. I've forgotten, though, why you're taking it. You haven't had a heart attack or TIA, right?

Doctors have told me to take both baby aspirin and statins, but I haven't been. I probably should do the aspirin. Not the statins, though. They cause me problems that I've been able to pinpoint and just aren't worth it. I ought to go onto a vegetarian diet. That would bring my cholesterol down the natural way. But how many years have I been talking about going on a vegetarian diet? It may never happen. I'm just happy to be eating less restaurant food these days.
