...another thing is that these telephones are not made to be repaired. They are made to be tossed and another one purchased when they break. If ya notice the cell phone stores don't have a "repair department" either. There is more money to be made in replacing the phone than repairing it.

Yeah, right.
I'll assume it magnifies it so one can see what needs
repairing . . . but what tools does one need to make
the repairs?

And then I'm thinking most of the time the problem is
going to be inside one of the chips . . . and if the
problem is catastrophic enough to see damage . . odds
are good it took out one or more of the chips where
you still can't see it.

But as a tool for severely magnifying and photographing
things from nature - sounds very cool.
