thank you kindly ma'am!
The Pollock sounds excellent! Hope it is very enjoyable!
I am awaiting the arrival of my daughters and grandkids now. While waiting I am priming and painting a couple of sheets of severe weather plywood I will be screwing down over top of my Heat Pump on the patio to protect it from the ice, snow, freezing rain, and of course, the icicles that hang from the gutters in winter.
By putting a "HAT" over top of it about 30 inches, it works like a very sturdy umbrella. I use 3/4 inch plywood and after the moisture is pretty dried up from the pressure treating, I then put a thick coat of Primer on all surfaces followed by two coats of Valspar severe weather exterior satin finish white. This will help the plywood to SHED water and not absorb it. Those units need to breathe and expel air volume so you cannot enclose them and reduce the volume of air they take in or exhaust.
This works well. I just actually ENLARGED the top to four feet by four feet. Lots of overhang there.... This unit should stay good and protected from the winter once I get the panels in place and screwed down..
One done and one to go.... I am doing this inside the house so the paint dries readily. Too cold outside to paint....
Happy Thanksgiving to ALL !
