I almost bought one of the above this morning from an on-line company called GearBest.com, but stopped just short of entering my credit card info. At that point I dug a little deeper and found a lot of negative reviews... comments that this is a Chinese knock-off. That other sites are selling it for $12. That the item shown in the original ad is different than the one described in the final sale. That the design they are showing appears to be hazardous. Etc.
Okay, I backed off from that purchase!
It seemed pretty cool, though - a 600x digital microscope with screen and SD card support (which suggests that it takes photos, though that's one more of my complaints. It never actually SAID that it takes photos... so what does "support" for the card mean??)
Anyway... I'm not interested in any Tophatter-quality junk. I may buy a digital microscope one day, but not this one.
Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months |
