Thats the only way we got to the store in S Dak,,,,,,,,, over the fields through the neighbors fields, to the store we went. My dad made a trailer for our snowmobile and used wooden water skis for the slides. Worked great. We got some serious snow when we was kids. One year we got so much snow it buried our house. We had to crawl out a bedroom window and tunnel back in to the front door. We couldn't go to school for two weeks , till the road dept could plow us out....
Us kids were crawling all over the snow banks and one of our neighbors came out and said " HEY GET OFF OF MY TRUCK". We looked down and the mirror of his truck was sticking out of the snow bank. That was like 8 foot below us. TRUE story.................
Us kids LOVED it.........We had 4 foot of snow on the flats..............
