I just pulled up, so to speak. I am in complete avoidance mode bec/ tomorrow is free shredding day and I am sorting through one million, maybe more, PAPERS.
You're a Dad and I know how you rightfully feel about your daughter. I have every single letter that my Dad sent to me while I was away at school. I'm not sure I can throw them away.
Oh sure, get my blood pressure up THIS early in the morning. I have no mercy on the Central Americans. None, zero zilch. I just know I want them stopped.
I don't know who replied to you, as it sounds as though you previously asked questions. I'll get to that in a minute.

I concur with this, big-time. They come into this country and reap the benefits that you and I have had to work for all of our lives. Then as we approach (ahem) our 30's or 40's, we see less money coming in because we have so much going out to support these folks.
",,,, they are runnung from persecution...." They are so full of ka-ka it is ridiculous. The first caravan, if reported correctly, has 7,000 thousand persecuted individuals in it. Caravan 2,3,and 4 have just as many. They are all persecuted? Give me a break. Now, if we threatened them with persecution here, they would be forced to stay in Mexico.
"....California has an immediate need for firefighters...." Gee, ya think they may have had a fire or two there? The ones I saw on t.v. looked a little low to the ground, so their excuse will be, "I can't reach the ladder."

Let's get all of them a headhunter and match their abilities with a position that suits them. OMG, I am so very annoyed.
They were offered work, food and shelter in Mexico City, and elsewhere in Mexico, but they are hell bent on coming here and using/abusing our systems that were created to help the needy, the elderly and the sick. When these benefits were created, they were a necessary support system to those who could not help themselves. It was a huge embarrassment to normal people, as recently as my grandmother's generation, to accept "RELIEF."
They are overloading our hospitals, our schools, our roads AND committing crimes 24/7.
They are MOOCHERS. I don't want them in at all.
