It is 51* here and I know this is impossible, but i just went out and there is this stuff falling and I cant feel it when I put my bare hand out. hmmmmmmmmmmmm looks like sleet........

My wife reminded me that I'd left my snow shovel lying in the dog's yard instead of bringing it up to the deck. Even I saw the sense in retrieving it before the snow got too deep, so I put on my zorries/flip-flops and went out to get it. When I came back up the steps, it seemed like a shame not to put it to use, so I shoveled the deck. That's about 2 inches less snow I'll have to deal with tomorrow before we can let the dog out...

It's been snowing hard for 3 hours. The temp is 24°. I hope the power holds. Losing power WOULD be a drag.
