Re: “McSally may be appointed to fulfill the rest of this term.”

I've heard nothing good about McSally and hope they replace Kyl with somebody else. Trump doesn't like her either which is why he didn't stump for her to help her campaign even though everyone knew she was in trouble. I expect that if he had, she would've won.

Not that she didn't win without the help - I think she did and that her seat was stolen in the recount. If President Trump had endorsed and rallied for her, I doubt there would have been a recount.

Republican Senate Candidate Martha McSally has conceded the Arizona Senate Race to Democrat Krysten Sinema.

Martha McSally may end up in the Senate next year, anyway. When Jon Kyl was appointed to fill John McCain's seat he said he would only accept the position for the rest of this year. Speculation is that McSally may be appointed to fulfill the rest of this term. This would make her the incumbent for the 2020 election, which would make it hard to displace her. Just rumor for now.
