Home Depot has 150 40-pound bags of wood pellets for $747. That's a little better than Tractor Supply.

I do like it that pellets burn hotter than wood and are reportedly easier to light and clean up. And since they'd be in 40 pound plastic bags, keeping them dry outside through the winter would probably be easier than firewood. But pellets are (so far) a little more expensive than wood logs and Home Depot doesn't deliver. Even with the flatbed trailer, I'm not too excited about hauling them myself. (150 bags weigh 6,000 pounds.)
