Wow, was that overly optimistic. I finished on August 1st! (start date July 5th)
Yes, but you had 3 cords, although in a rough winter we used at least that much. However, we didn't get 3 cords delivered at once.

I went to the local store where they sold firewood and begged for pallets. I had bought our deck wood there and I made sure they remembered me!
In my defense, I was stacking the wood on pallets and I only had five. I had to stop stacking while I looked for more. I think I ended up using eight.

Jeez. Re-living this is making the idea of moving 150 bags of pellets sound better and better. On the other hand, maybe 3 cords of firewood will turn out to be overkill and I won't have to stack so much in the future... Fingers crossed.
Hon, that was only your first year, lol. I would NEVER "do" firewood again.
Those pellets sound much easier. Go to Waste Management and see if they have old dumpsters. Then have the pellets dumped into that. I don't know if they will/can give them to you, but it's worth a shot.
Honey, ya live in NH and it's winter. FWIW, (( I ))
think you will need 3 cords of wood every winter. I don't work for the Farmer's Almanac, but I do watch the weather channel.
EASIEST SOLUTION: start burning the furniture!
