omg, with that picture, DE.
The honey and I built steps up to our car/s. We used landscape timbers on the sides and across where we wanted the steps. Welp, that was not fun. I used a pick axe every day for 3 months. When I hit a rock, about the same size of the ones you pictured here, I would have to use an entrenching tool to slowly dig around the rock. Then I would lie down where it made the most sense and try to move it with my feet. No, I don't think Nemo would call you a wimp, but if he does, I have done this job and I'll let him know that I have been there, done that AND THAT IT IS a massive job. We then filled them with white stone. They were pretty and they were still in good shape when we sold the house. But, it was the summer from hell.
We also had to put stone behind our free-standing fireplace. I would take the cement, layer it on the wall, the honey would place the stone/s on top of the wet cement until it was safe to move onto the next one.
Needless to say, not wearing many pairs of gloves, will cause your fingertips to rot, and I do mean ROT.
That was a good time to break into a neighbor's house or to use a gun and shoot someone, as I wouldn't be able to submit a fingerprint! I did not have fingertips. omg
I have never been fingerprinted, now that I think of it. In my past life, they didn't require it, as they do now.
So being my fingerprints are not on file, I should really cause some kind of ruckus cuz they'll never know!
