You somehow learned to browse the internet. You found atomicbobs.com, created an account for yourself, found one 'Pope' board after another, learned to read posts and how to write them. Quite competently, too. You learned that the Pfffarters are dolts!

You know a lot more than you claim.

Mr. Techie did all of that for me.

De, did you ever see me asking all of these questions before? The answer is "no." Mr. Techie, Mr. Mechanic, Mr. Change the a/c filter, Mr. Shopper, Mr.Driver...endless list.

Mr. Techie across the street

Wrong Mr. Techie. Let's not confuse our techies!

Some things that are initially hard to learn make life easier in the long run. Some don't. Dragon is one of those that does - for people who do a lot of repetitive tasks on their computer and for those with typing or wrist issues.

Oh, and I sure need EASIER. I agree I need dragon, but in the interim, I am just buying more arthritic cream!

It's a good idea never to install software until you are comfortable with it, so steering clear of Dragon make sense. You might want to try talking Mr. Techie across the street into getting it for his machine, though. If you are successful, he might then be able to show you how to use it and convince you to get a copy for yourself before it disappears from the Windows world forever.
