I keep a rubbermaid trash can in the enclosure and that's where his deposits (bagged up) go.

welp, you should have moved to San Fran, where not only people can poop on the street, but dawgs can, too. Smile))

There was tremendous wind here yesterday, last night and it's still hanging around this a.m. THIS is why my new garbage can weighs 98 pounds. Here's the thing: I want the can to blow away. Grrrr

Have any of you had a horse in your yard in the last week or two?)

Oh, sure, I keep horses in the backyard. OMG, you are kidding me! Seriously, I just have sheep.

Since I have a dog who is inclined to run off, I've fenced in the area around my deck. These days, that's as much of the outdoors as the dog ever sees. Since he's a dog, he does what dogs do while he's out there and we have to pick up regularly. I keep a rubbermaid trash can in the enclosure and that's where his deposits (bagged up) go.

Yesterday, we had some wind while I was barbecuing. At some point, it was strong enough to lift the lid off the 3-foot trash can and fling it over the fence and into the larger field where I was. I intended to pick it up but forgot until later when it was getting dark and I was already indoors. Since the wind had died down, I decided to wait until morning.

The wind must have picked back up because today... that lid is GONE. ^#$%! yet again. I may as well go look for it. It's sunny and a sultry 37° right now so I have no excuses.

BTW, a couple of days ago, someone's runaway pet was wandering around in my field. I tried to approach it but it strolled back to the street as I got near and I knew better than to chase it.

Only in the country. (Or maybe I'm being too presumptuous. Have any of you had a horse in your yard in the last week or two?)
