A little trivia: Propane tanks are called "20-pound," "30-pound" or whatever not based on how much they hold, or the pressure of the contents, but based on how much the tank weighs when it is full. I learned that when I was out buying and filling the new 30 pound tank. Knowing it might win one of you some money on Jeopardy one day.
THIS IS JUST THE BIGGEST COINCIDENCE OF MY LIFE!
I am going to be on Jeopardy next week! I hope Alex asks me about the weight of a propane tank.
I am afraid of propane. Hey, I don't even like this gas stove I have right now. If you can get it turned on (there is a system), it POOFS out at ya and it really does scare me.
We had propane for our grills when we owned a home.
I never once started it. Not one time. If anyone is capable of blowing up a gas grill, it is me.
For example, last year I almost burned the house down because I turned the knob on the toaster oven, but I didn't realize that I had turned it all the way down, but not OFF.
So, if this ever happens to you, don't say, "hey, do I smell smoke out there?" Say this; OH MY GOD, IT'S A FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YEP, AND A FIRE IT WAS.
I didn't even get yelled at.
I wonder about that man.
Ohgod, FIRE. I come from a very long line of firemen (and law enforcement), so you would think I would know better.
Apparently not.
oh carp.
