You're not alone, nemo. As I said, I have become cynical about this whole ILLEGAL immigration, and the various paths to citizenship.....I know what I am thinking but it isn't for posting.

In addition, where have the rules gone for legal immigration? You used to have to take an American citizen test, proving you knew about our country and our laws, you HAD to know English and your respect for our country had to be utmost in your mind and heart.

My ancestors did not have that luxury for sure, and my grandparents were immigrants.
What you are saying about "this new wave" PROVES MY POINT. IN GENERAL, that is what we are contending with. I don't like it, and I can read all of the contributions about why I should accept this new wave, and it still will not change my mind.
Our pride is so very diminished - - I can't stand to see this happening!
