But, judging by my Philipino would-be-daughter-in-law
(and she is a cutie) and her two precious little midgets . . .
Well, the two of them have an idea what the alphabet
is all about and they love me to read 'The Cat In The Hat'
to them. (They are about two and four.)

GirlFriends other boy had a hand in seeing that his
kids learned their lessons too.

And then 'reduce college entrance for Asians' ??
Because they are smart ??

Are these people brain damaged? 'We' want our smartest
kids (regardless of ethnicity) to go to college.

There is no point in trying to educate a rock.

I believe the ACT tests have been around for a while.

ok, I can only find that they started in 2005.

'college ready' the kid is.

well, thank ye. I kinda, sorta knew that.

But we got colleges waiving the minimum scores for
certain minorities so they can 'go to college' . . .
Where they are woefully under-prepared to get a good
education . . . And so the colleges water down the
curricula because it would be racist to flunk the
under-educated 'students' out.

Alriiighty then sounds like most athletes. Dumb as rocks.

My sister-in-law is Chinese. She sent her eldest son to English school bec/ he only spoke Chinese when he came here....multi linguist.

Second son: spoke English as he arrived here several years younger. She sent him to Chinese school. Another multi linguist.

I'm sort of glad I have kind of mastered English, oh sigh.
