NOOOOoooo, total bummer. That is some schedule for year-end semester.

Thanksgiving is November 22nd, and Joey's semester ends on December 7th. He has a concert that night. Then he'll have finals the next week, ending December 15th.

Around December 3rd or 4th, I'll drive to Charlottesville and stay about two weeks, seeing his show and bringing him home.

Don't forget to post the video of his show. I don't think I have missed one yet. Possible, but not probable. He is very talented.

The good news is that his next semester will be in Japan. Since their semesters aren't in synch with ours, it will start in mid (or late) March and last until early August. So we'll have him here from mid-December until then. That will be nice.

JAPAN? Did you ever say why? If so, I missed it.
Regardless of why he is going to Japan, it will be nice for him to "rest up" before leaving for his studies in Japan. I apologize that I do not remember your mentioning that.

Seriously, I have been following him for years. Whenever you gents post something about your children, grandchildren or other family members, I do remember.

The good news is that his next semester will be in Japan (Waseda University in Tokyo.) Since their semesters aren't in synch with ours, it will start in mid (or late) March and last until early August. So we'll have him here for three months, from mid-December until mid March. That will be nice. We won't have him for the summer, though. From Japan, he goes straight back to UVA.
