Hello there miz kathy ma'am!
Been gone on business. Be gone a day or two next week also.. Huge amount of work up north. Redoing an entire 200,000 square foot plant in Columbus trying to get their production operations actually working efficiently and and eliminating waste and bad parts.
It is a mess from years of POOR management and people being paid that had no idea what they were doing.. It's a mess but it can be fixed. I made a good dent in it last couple weeks. The Head of the company wanted to know if I would consider coming to work for him.
I thanked him and politely said that while I would be challenged and am flattered, I did not believe I would enjoy that much driving every day..
Now, if they were to pay me enough for PART TIME duties, I might consider it.
But I truly like and enjoy what I do and meeting new people and helping them. Yes, I get paid for doing it, but my primary goal is to get them highly profitable and teach them correct and proficient ways to do things.
I love to teach and transform. That is where I derive satisfaction. Giving back from a blessed career that I had enjoyed and now trying to share that expertise with others.
The good news for them is I don't charge what I made when I was at my companies. Building trust is always a key and being there for them when they need you demonstrates you take their needs seriously and care. A rare thing in this world today...
