Ah, you're right. But your idea of what OCU did for a living is not.
OCU was not an application user. He was a salesman. A demonstration person. He was one of those people who goes from seminar to seminar (or customer to customer) delivering what are essentially canned speeches that show his product's capabilities.
Now, I'm not knocking him for that. But it would be wrong to suggest that there was much thought involved in what he did. It was just memorization and recitation. He was like an actor. A good one, but an actor still.
