There's an easy fix for your problem: Go to any auto parts store or gas station and ask the guys behind the counter for a quart of blinker fluid. Add it to your tank at your convenience or the next time you get gas.
This stuff works by slowing down the rate at which the turn signal can blink. It's not as good a solution as replacing the bulb, but since yours is going too fast, it will definitely work. A slow blinker is actually harder to fix.
