Too true Babe.
As long as the Taliban think they might become victorious they
will have no desire to 'negotiate'. Start seriously kicking the
carp out of them and they will negotiate. Mostly to slow up the
damage they be taking . . .

I like that line where you said "You never show your cards before the last bet. NEVER."

Yeah. If the Taliban think we are sick and tired and want to get
out . . . they will keep on. But if Trump was to make them
believe we intend to keep on stomping on them like cockroaches just
because we like stomping on cockroaches . . . and we ain't never
gonna stop stomping on them . . . They might decide to negotiate
in good faith. But I would not negotiate with them until after
we had dramatically reduced their ability to cause problems.

Zim.

An American general said that?

Oh man, we should have blasted them to glass a long time ago.

It is complicated, very complicated.

I can't believe he said that. You never show your cards before the last bet. NEVER.

Yikes, such a hotbed over there. It boggles my mind. They understand nothing but force.

We couldn't even take Viet Nam...why?...because of POLITICS and negotiations. AND 50,000 dead Americans whose only consolation is having their name etched into a wall in DC.

The Donald should can the jerk. You have to scare these people. Problem is: there are a lot of them, and I don't want one more drop of American blood spilled OVER THERE. Argghhhhhh!

He mused that the Taliban is also tired of fighting and may be interested in starting to “work through the political piece” of the 17-year-old war.

But it’s not clear if the Taliban is open to negotiations. Last month, a top Taliban commander told RT, in a rare interview, that the group’s leaders had no desire to negotiate with the Americans.
