Taliban can not be defeated?

Oh, they can be defeated.

But, the real problem in Afghanistan is the neighbors. As in Pakistan
supports terrorism in Afghanistan and so does Iran. (Pakistan becsuse it wants
to 'own' Afghanistan and Iran because they want to drive the Americans out.)

Not to mention that Russia and China would also not mind seeing the U.S.
take a black eye in that armpit of the world.
