Be safe, my friend. You didn't say how far you'll be driving, but knowing you, it's going to be a bit of a trip. In driving rain, you've got to be careful.

We finally took our minivan to a local shop to have its radiator replaced yesterday. Expensive but it's no longer leaking. We'd been adding water every few days (bad!) and, with the cold temperatures that are now here (24° a few days ago but we're now in for warmer weather), we can't do that any more. The radiator needs antifreeze not water, and I don't want to be going through two gallons of that per week.

Today, it's the truck's turn. The local shop doesn't do transmissions, but they recommended a place 20 miles away that does. We phoned yesterday and the guy seemed to know what the problem is even without seeing the truck. He says "the lines" GM uses are crap... that they should use better quality steel. I'm not sure what that means... maybe that the tranny itself won't have to be replaced?? I'll learn more soon enough.

I don't know what it's going to cost, but I'm sure that yesterday's $450 will be chicken feed by comparison.

I am leaving in a few minutes to go on a "help me" trip up north today. The client I have been working with the past three months finally had yet another episode of product failure I warned him about, and now he believes me... Of course, he has over 2,000 failed and rejected parts he has to get, strip, and make right to his customer.

SO, I am doing a DEMO and fixing his entire powder coating line, all ten auto guns, and the booth and controls, and have over a thousand pounds of correct powder formulation headed to him to spray and end the chipping off and cracking off.

Sherwin Williams lied to him repeatedly and being ignorant, he chose to believe them instead of me.

Well, that did not work out too well so I get the PANIC phone call and emergency purchase order yesterday..


IT IS PURING BUCKETS from the sky here and this is dangerous driving conditions. I am a little tentative as I do not like being on interstates with this much water pouring from the sky... We are projected at 4 - 5 inches of rain today alone all in Ohio and going up I-71 from Cincinnati is right in the middle of it....

Have no idea when I will be back today but will not be on board rest of day or night...

Keep me in your prayers for safety. I would appreciate that greatly..
