Have you personally EVER taken one apart and gone through one?

With your ability to take apart and repair the mechanicals under the hoods of cars I would have thought that might be something you actually had first hand knowledge of..

Glad you looked online at a video. There are LOTS of them that show the insides of altrnators and how to fix most common problems. Including the brushes...

I believe they do have brushes, real small ones . This site suggest the same. Tell ya the truth I never gave it much thought LOL
