oh sire. I know that. Everyone and their brother wants some of it. Just a tiny amount here and there. Pretty soon you don;t have enough left to take care of your own things...
I am particular about charitable donations and all the causes and needs. Like Beldin, we support Samaritan's purse and Salvation Army and a couple local ones that see that children at Christmas will have warm clothing, a nice coat to wear, a blanket to stay warm in bed, and TOYS for Christmas they would not otherwise get because their parents cannot afford them....
Sometimes my wife and I just go to the store and buy a thousand dollars worth of children's toys, tell the store manager what we are doing and then most times the store helps as well and we get the discounted price so we can buy more.... We take them to the MISSION in Cincinnati where I know the chaplain there, and they will give them out to disadvantaged children and make them smile and be happy.... THAT is my Christmas JOY.... Seeing the children have something to smile about if only for a few days....
How blessed and fortunate we have been......... but for the grace of God, there go I........
