I think he is an American citizen sell out personally. I think he used his POW status for GAIN. Like many other combat Marines and soldiers, we could have allowed ourselves to be over run by the enemy and become either dead or pow's also. We fought instead. Semper Fi means something. We did not allow the enemy defeat us. Plenty of us were shot, wounded from mortars or artillery.
We kept going. SO, forgive me if I am not swooning over someone who got captured and became an American Socialist after pretending to be a conservative.
One never knew which side of McCain was going to show up. I believe it was whatever side showed up with the most money.
