Re: “OH GOODIE,,,,,,,,,,,,,”
I was just talking to my wife about this.
"I sincerely hope that it doesn't win," I said.
"I don't see why anyone cares what someone has in their pants," she replied. "To vote for someone just because they're wearing a dress…"
"Maybe they aren't," I said. "Maybe they like its policies. What I don't understand is why they would vote for something like that when it's clearly mentally ill."
That's what it all boils down to for me. When I was growing up, if I'd one day decided to tell everyone that I wanted to be a girl, they'd have looked at me like I'd lost my mind because indeed that would have been the case. The same is true today. These are seriously disturbed individuals. While I am not a particularly prejudiced person, I do believe that it makes sense to keep mentally ill individuals out of public office. Trans-genders are unbalanced. They cannot be trusted to make sound decisions on important issues.
It bothers me to no end that, in the name of political correctness, today's society pretends that that is not the case. We're in for a world of hurt when political correctness wins out over common sense.
