And I still haven't found it. They say I have to drop the drive train to get at the drivers side of the engine. One needs a can opener to work on this thing...........

And this crazy thing has 5 valves per cylinder. Crazy Germans.............
the upper cam you can see 3 lobes for the intakes, and lower two for the exhaust........
And notice the position of the center lobe is off from the outer 2. Mechanical variable timing I guess.....
