UBI money is given to every adult citizen.

But your previous post referenced the impoverished as benefiting at this time. I think any type of UBI would end up having income limits and look a lot like welfare.

Welfare is only for those at and beneath the poverty level. UBI money is given to every adult citizen.

A job will not affect UBI payments, but it may disqualify a person from or reduce welfare payments. Thus, welfare may discourage recipients from looking for work while UBI payments should not.

I'll leave it to you to figure out the implications of this. I don't argue for UBI. I just find it inevitable. It is, of course, a form of welfare.
