AS one who is about to actually go on medicare with a supplement as well as my wife, and knowing that Ribs is already there as well as DG,
I want to weigh in on a a couple things.
1. I like the fact that the medicare payments for services are greatly reduced to the providers. FAR MORE than healthcare plan discounts from major carriers.
THIS means not nearly as much money going out for services.
Medicaid rates for service are even less.
2. With point 1 in mind, assuming that those rates for services don't go up, and knowing that those of us who actually are on medicare pay monthly to have it, I am left scratching my head that if we have highly discounted service rates and I am paying $134/month toward medicare plus the cost of a supplement, the amount of money flowing into medicare must be pretty large every month. I realize that paying medical bills by medicare going out is rather large as well, but still, working people have taxes coming out of their paychecks going to medicare currently as well.
WHY then, with this scenario, is this agency in so much debt, assuming we don;t get ALL the FREELAODERS from BERNIE the Brainless added on?
I would think that without that added burden medicare would not be in bad state....
This article again proves that there is no such thing as FREE as Bernie the COMMIE wants everyone to think and the main stream media want all the IGNORANT and UNINFORMED to accept Bernie's diatribe as being true...
