Democratic Delaware Sen. Chris Coons is worried his party is alienating moderate voters by moving too far to the left.
"If we as a Democratic Party are going to move from a minority at every level that is dedicated to resistance, to a majority that is capable of governing, we have got to move from grievance to optimism," Coons said in a speech on Thursday, according to US News and World Report.
"And we've got to abandon a politics of anxiety that is characterized by wild-eyed proposals and instead deliver ideas and practical solutions." ...
Hence your problem, Sen. Coons ... the only ideas Democrats have involve expanding the list of "victims" ... other than white males, of course ... so an ever more autocratic government can supposedly "ride to the rescue" and repress even more of the inalienable rights of our citizens. Your poisoned political party is so heinously treasonous towards our Constitutional Republic and its citizens that you have nothing left but to either: (1) mindlessly throw infantile and increasingly violent temper tantrums, like Democrats are doing, now, or (2) you find a way to eject the anti-American Marxists and anarchists who are controlling your party, reject government power in favor of individual freedom, and return to a rational respect for the rule of law. The ONLY way you can even remotely offer ANY substantial, constructive, and productive ideas is to turn your political party's direction 180 degrees away from destructive path it has been ignorantly taking for the past several decades, now.
