Re: “Make them start and run all systems. Appliances are not cheap for RVS DE!!!!!”

Very good advice.

We were considering this $1,500 motor home but I demurred.

The owner said that the engine, a/c and stove all work well but the other appliances all need "some degree of attention." Uh... warning flags! I'm not the handyman you are, Nemo. If the septic or electrical are bad, I may never get the thing working properly. When we asked about the heater, the owner said he couldn't get the pilot to light - so who knows what it might cost to replace the 32 year old heater. I probably wouldn't be able to FIX it.

It was a 2 hour drive, so I told my wife to cancel our appointment. How does an RV with only 45,000 miles on it go bad in so many ways that the owner only wants $1,500 for it???

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months
