I actually sell mine when I want a different one.
My cars are always road worthy with nothing wrong with them.
MOST of these older Lexus models are built like brick outhouses.
If it's running smooth when ya look at it and test drive drive it, don;t be afraid of it.
Take it to yer mechanic, have them change all the fluids to be safe and check the brakes and suspension.
The exhaust will outlive you. So will the engine.
Keep fresh oil in it and it will run forever.
Just saying that these cars in particular are KNOWN for lasting extremely long times.. After a dozen years many people simply want a different car...
We are like that in my household...
I'll be selling my wife's car next year and getting her something different.
We have had it for ten years now... Looks like grandson will want it..
