Yeah, back in the early 70s, my brother lived in a duplex. He had a fabulous stereo system with four speakers that were YUGE (ask President Trump, he'll confirm it!). The volume control went from 0 to 10. At 1, you could put your hands on the wall separating the two units and feel it moving back and forth - A LOT. Needless to say, in order to keep the peace, he very rarely turned the dial past 1.
