Actually,
Until the Syrian revolution Syria was pretty good
about not launching missiles or other attacks
against Israel. (Might have something to do with
the shellacking they took back in the 1967 war
when Syria lost the Golan Heights . . . and re-inforced
with the 1973 Yom Kippur war . . .)

Only recently (relatively speaking) with the stinking
Iranians in Syria has there been violence from Syria
snaking into Israel - and most of that was iran sponsored.

Interesting side note. One place I like to read tells
me that occasionally Israel has provided medical care
for some Syrian rebels.

Israel is an ally.

DO WE need to try to confiscate Syria. No. IS that our objective? No.

Do we want the bad guys there driven out of there and we don't really care how or who does it? YES.

I think the author of this article is full of shit personally.
