Agreed, Decomp. You should absolutely stay with the name he is used to - no point in confusing him any more than he already is.

Nah, that was a tongue-in-cheek statement aimed squarely at getting the frog's goat - so to speak.

The name of my next dog is gonna be Damnit. Come here, Damnit! Sit, Damnit! Fetch me an ice-cold beer, Damnit! Quit lickin' yer butt, Damnit!

Agreed. We didn't give him that name. However "Kermit" might just be the only word the dog knows! We don't think it would be prudent to mess with that - not at this time, anyway, which that means we probably won't change it later.

Coincidentally, I had a dog named "Frog" about 20 years ago. He was a huge, lovable, hyperactive and destructive beast. Sadly, he didn't live long. I came home one day and found him in the yard. The vet thought maybe a black widow got him.
