Agreed. We didn't give him that name. However "Kermit" might just be the only word the dog knows! We don't think it would be prudent to mess with that - not at this time, anyway, which that means we probably won't change it later.

Coincidentally, I had a dog named "Frog" about 20 years ago. He was a huge, lovable, hyperactive and destructive beast. Sadly, he didn't live long. I came home one day and found him in the yard. The vet thought maybe a black widow got him.

I know what the problem is, Decomp ... his name is "Kermit." The poor dog is named after a damned FROG - no wonder he's neurotic!!!

P.S. Give him time. 3 or 4 days isn't long enough for him to acclimate to you and his new surroundings. Dogs take patience if they're going to become good family dogs.
