ZIM

I don;t want the "rate".

I want to know HOW MANY NEW unemployment claims were filed for that same time period.

Those numbers versus the so called employment numbers would tell you how many NET people were either added to or subtracted from the economy.

In other words, if there were 200,000 new jobs added last month, but there also were 200,000 new claims files for unemployment, the net result is a WASH.

Same total amount of people are employed.

WITH SO MANY CLOSINGS going on it is difficult to see how that plays against the hoopla of supposed new jobs added.

How many LOST their jobs?
That is what I want to know... I noticed that nobody is volunteering that info..

Hope this helps as to what I am actually looking for and also why.

I like what Trump is doing. I also know that people are losing their jobs because of so many closures as well and those numbers are not making the headlines...

THANKS Zim! Very Happy

micro...

Micro,
I believe Nemo recently posted a graph of the
'labor force participation rate'.

THAT one should be more important than the 'unemployment rate'.

Zim.
