Micro,
I believe Nemo recently posted a graph of the
'labor force participation rate'.

THAT one should be more important than the 'unemployment rate'.

I noticed the bragging about 240,000 jobs added last month.

I wondered if anyone saaw or got the numbers for how many new unemployment claims had been filed in that same period?

I would like to know.. Simple math will tell you that if you ADD or "create" (bad description), a number of newly filled jobs, but you have an equal number of newly filed unemployment benefits, you have a net gain of ZERO.

Very interested in those unemployment numbers for first time claim filings....

THAT will tell us a lot more...
