This answer comes from John chapter 3. Most people think the only verse in John chapter 3 is verse 16. They quote it, ignoring all the verses before and after it, thus using it immensely out of context.
Even Christians make this same mistake. When you look at scripture, take into account it's context. Then look and see if there are other verses in the Bible and contexts that describe and support that very thing. This is called UNITY and HARMONY of the scriptures, so you know that it is true and not taken out of context...

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
IF one has not believed in their heart that JESUS is the SON of GOD, asked HIM to forgive you of your sins, asked him to SAVE YOU and be your LORD and Savior, you also have missed the boat of Salvation and like all those who perished in the FLOOD of Noah's day, you will also die in your sins.
